Headers and footers
Headers and footers exist only for paginated documents, after the first page. On the first page, their role is filled by the front matter. A page header consists of three zones at the top of the page: one on the left, one on the right, and one in the middle between them. You define the header by specifying what content goes in each zone. It is the same for the footer at the bottom of the page.
Please note that the app does not use Left or Right to denote the lateral zones, but Binding or Outer Sides. Their effective side depends indeed if the document is generated in duplex, and on which side is the first page.
