Keyboard Height

Piano diagrams will have this height. Their width depends on their content.
Default value: 33pt. scalable

Unplayed keys

This defines the content of unplayed keys:

  • Empty
  • Pitch
  • Interval
Default value: Interval

Played keys

This defines the content of played keys:

  • Empty
  • Note
  • Pitch
  • Interval
Default value: Interval

Color played keys completely

If enabled, the app colors the whole key if its played. Otherwise, it draws a dot.
Default value: No

Rounded top

If enabled, the app draws the top corners of the keyboard with rounded corners. It draws them square otherwise.
Default value: Yes

Rounded bottom

If enabled, the app draws the bottom corners of the keyboard with rounded corners. It draws them square otherwise.
Default value: Yes

Rounded black keys

If enabled, the app draws the bottom corners of black keys with rounded corners. It draws them square otherwise.
Default value: Yes

Stroke width

This defines the line width used to draw the keyboard keys.
Default value: 1pt. not-scalable

Range

Boundaries

This characterize the keyboard portion which is drawn to represent a voicing.

  • C: Start or end on a C
  • Cluster: Start or end on a C or a F
  • Close: Start or end on a white note next to first or last played notes.
  • Closest: Start on the first played note and end exactly on the last played note.
Default value: C

Octaves

The number of octaves is a minimal requirement and the resulting diagram may present more octaves if needed. If "snap" is selected, the diagram will end on the closest boundary following the highest voicing note.
Default value: Snap

Colors

White keys

The color used to fill the white keys.
Default value: Anti-Content color

White keys text

The color used to draw text of not-played notes inside white keys.
Default value: Content color, 70% opacity

Black keys

The color used to fill the black keys.
Default value: Content color

Black keys text

The color used to draw text of not-played notes inside black keys.
