Content

This is where you define how content is presented. By default, all parts use the same default style, but you can opt to specialize the style for some specific kinds. Thus, you can specify a specific style for Choruses for example. You activate specific styles by toggling them on in the “Content style” screen.

For each kind and the default style, you can configure these settings:

Style

Font

This font is used to draw the title.
Default value: Body font

Color

This color is used to draw the title.
Default value: Content color

Alignment

This corresponds to the alignment of the title inside its block.
Default value: Left-aligned

Vertical Spacing

Chord & Lyrics

This is the distance between lyrics and chords.
Default value: 0pt. scalable

Line gap

This is the spacing between successive lines of text.
Default value: 4pt. scalable

Layout

Margins

These margins are appended outside of the title when it is laid out.
Default value: 8pt. on each side, not-scalable

Border

Border

A border that is drawn around the title.
Default value: None

Columns

Do not put into columns

If enabled, the content block will span the whole width of the page, breaking any active column run.
Default value: No

Text stretching

Show dashes inside words

If enabled and if annotations are causing text to stretch, the app will draw a dash inside words “li–ke this”.
Default value: Yes

Show dashes between words

If enabled and if annotations are causing text to stretch, the app will draw a dash between words “like–this”.
Default value: No

Show dashes for offset lines

If enabled and if annotations are causing the line to be offset to stretch, the app will draw a dash between words “–like this”.
Default value: Yes
